Embrace the midi

I have fully embraced the midi skirt trend. Not only do I love the choice available, the versaility of how they can be styled and that there are so many bargain midis out there to be found, I love how flattering they are for my height and shape. I genuinely believe that midis suit everyone of all shapes and sizes and this makes me beyond happy!

I have been wearing midi skirts for some time now but with them being available in pretty much every shop at the moment I practically live in them now.

In this post I am going to share my absolute favourites with you ranging in quality, length, versatility and price.

First up is the snakeskin print H&M midi. This beaut was a steal at just £12.99 (full price). This sleek satin stunner even compliments my pear shape, considering its very close fitting I’m pretty happy about it. I was nervous about trying this at first, I had seen it on several bloggers/ instagrammers and love it. The cut of this particular midi is quite different to the majority of midi skirts I already own. It is more figure hugging on hips and bum than many midis but the way it is cut is so flattering. It feels very expensive and the colour means you can team it with such a variety of tops, jumpers and bodysuits.

Next up is my tiger print midi from Primark this was just £10 and what can I say……..you get a lot for your money. It fits like a glove, has the cutest button detailing and slit on one side, so for £10 you’d be crazy not to want this in your wardrobe. I have really enjoyed dressing this up for evenings out with the girls and dressing it down with trainers and a t-shirt at weekends.

Now we move onto my absolute favourite midi. The epsom navy midi from Boden: Originally £120 now reduced to £48 which also comes in mustard yellow. It’s 100% worth the price tag, this satin skirt is the best quality of any of the skirts I have come across. Its soft, comfortable, amazing quality and I felt £1m wearing it. I’ve mainly been wearing it with glam tops and sparkly jumpers (over the festivities). Although now the weather has warmed up I’ve started pairing it with t-shirts, floaty tops and sandles. You’ll be seeing me in this for years to come.

My green leopard print midi from Primark has received tons of compliments and I adore the vibrant colour, the floatyness, and price tag (£10) for this gorgeous skirt. This skirt is great for colour clashing which is something I am really enjoying doing.

The next snake print skirt is a more traditional pattern. This has a lot more material as its lined which also makes it feel excellent quality and is great for a windy day. This is another Primark bargain at just £14. I wear this a lot as it works with such a variety of outfits.

To add to my wonderful collection I recently purchased a more traditional leopard print pattern skirt from Monki. I am loving the design of this skirt with the ruffles along the bottom and the buttons along the side, its so unique and couldn’t believe it was just £10 in their sale.

Next up is my fabulous pink satin skirt again from Primark. I feel like this is a more dressy skirt so this isn’t one of my most worn skirts, but it certainly is a gorgeous addition to my wardrobe. I tend to wear this with other pastel colours as I love a colour clash but like to keep it within the same tones.

Last but by no means least it my beautiful green zebra print midi which is currently in Tesco for £16. I have been wearing this a lot since I bought it last month, its similar to my amazing H&M bargain so the cut is incredibly flattering and I love it!!
